Well... I did it! Since we have received 43.2" of snow in 2003 alone (compared to only 3.6" in 2002) I Finally figured out (Gave up) that I could not beat Mother Nature... I have been pushed to the point that I actually have prayed for rain just to wash off all of this DAMN road salt... I know we were spoiled with beautiful (Prowler) weather last "winter"... But this year has been absolutely ridiculous thus far... Continued from post NJ event: http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008468.html
quote: Ed - I don't know, I really feel that I got a great deal!!!... Just installed a K&N, Jay Harris' SSS Exhaust & Paxton Gears... Of course I had to beef up the rear & upgraded to a titanium blade. She has 294.1hp at 5480 RPM... With the Maximum Power output marked at 297.8hp with Maximum Torque of 273.1 ft lbs. The SnowKat will plow the quarter-mile (with 8" of wet snow 48" wide) in only 2.35 minutes. If I can keep up behind it, the SnowKat should be able to run the 1/4 in it in 12.9 sec on a dry track with blade disengaged... At the rate I have been making money off of clearing driveways in my neighborhood, I should be able to replace that empty spot in my heart & garage with another Prowler by 2010...
SnowKat close-up shot Ed - Here are the Dyno sheet you were asking for... The only problem is that the SnowKat only comes in red... I did add the AlleyCat chromed door-trim grill treatment to the SnowKAt & it looks great!!! Next weekend I plan on installing neon & strobes... WildBill ps - According to Punxsutawney Phil... Winter will officially be over this Sunday the 16th!!! If not!!! I will shoot him... OK... Maybe just yell at him really good... |

WildBill, you that is too funny. You can pick up a few bucks running it as a Zamboni on the ice, too. What do you mean it is a PROBLEM that is comes in RED, THE BEST COLOR!!!!! Are you going to trim the flaps? What are you doing about the center caps? |

Thanks Ed Getting a little cabin fever... Couldn't sleep the other night... Just trying to spread a little humor... I know many of us are getting itchy right feet... I tried using it here at the Garden the other night; but they chased me off... Zamboni Driver is a Union position... Messier & Bure really liked it though I am going to leave the flaps at full length, the extra length really helps push the snow away from the edges of curbs & such... I'm either going to paint the center caps or have Darcy engrave a cat into them... As far as the color... Does the Kat look familiar??? Look at the flames... I made the SnowKat out of a photograph I took of your kat from ProwLancaster WildBill |

quote: Thanks Canuck! Good news is that I think I scared Mother Nature or she finally felt bad... We were suppose to get snow two days this past week & all we got was rain to help with the salt Today is beautiful feels like it is 65 -68 & sunny... Top-down Prowlin' weather... Of course I'm at work all day today... Now I need to design a new job... Ed- It isn't dementia or old age... You were just being modest You did notice that I did, in fact, model the SnowKat after the MonahanKat, but you didn't want to boast about it What a guy! WildBill |
