Guys, Chrysler is going to replace my rims because of the chrome pitting..and wearing thin... However, the dealership cannot change the tires... can anyone advise where I can take the car to have the new rims installed? Or, is this something that can/should be done by hand?? Bob, when mine were replaced they used a Discount Tire store that was right down the street. They were really good about the sensors, etc. and I believe they are the ones to go to when you need a flat fixed (for free, I think?). I'm pretty sure others on the site have had good luck with them as well. |

Bob just had mine done make sure they can handle a 20" rim with their machine or the rims could get damaged. C-Note will probably give you some tips also as he has his own shops. Watch how they remove the centre caps as they break very easily, these run flat tires are alot stiffer on the sidewalls than most standard tires so require the proper people and equipment to change, good luck PK |

Bob - If dealer can't do them, and there are no Discount Tire stores in your area, how about a Goodyear store? Make sure they are G/Y EMT knowledgeable and have the newer tire breaking equipment to handle the 20" rims. www.tires.com for Discount tire locations ------------------
