The best and worst mod threads got me to thinking about what I had done or thought about doing to my car.

The simplest mod was removing the sun visors. Totally in the way when putting the top up or down. Looked funky sticking up in the air when the top is down. You don't need them. The chop top and low slung seat puts you back under the roof far enough that the sun is not a problem anyway.

If you haven't tried it I highly recommend that you do. Four screws. Simple to do, and simple to un-do if you really don't like it without them. My bet is you will though.

You guys clued me in on that long before I bought my Cat. I put ceramic pads on my SLK because of you guys.

My mods went like this (all in the first month).

1. Splash guards installed by dealer prior to delivery
2. Removed sun visors
3. Ceramic pads
4. Magic Touch intake
5. Bumpers removed, Tom Mills turn signal relocation
6. Magic Touch braces
