Did anyone get any 0-60 and 1/4 mile official times without the gears, and then with the gears? Non-supercharged. Thanks.

My gears will be here tomorrow.
Do have a question.
Is there any way to change the overdrive ration from .69 to .50. Return the use of the overdrive with the new gears and keep it below 2500 rpm in 4th at 75mph.

Hey now, the 4th gear only runs a few 100 rpms higher than stock so not to worry. Unless you split the case and change that primary gear, you will have to loose a small amount of gas mileage. Well worth the performance gain in my opinion. I have no idea what gas mileage I am getting. I don't think it really matters, does it???

Started the installation of my gears tonight. So far pretty smooth. Got the cover off and in the morning will take the stock gears out and complete the installation.
Can't wait.
Chino

PS: Hey Pena, what did you use to clean the old gasket material from the cover?

I used a stainless wire brush, less than a minute.

Some Chem-tool and was ready for the silicone.

Prowler Pro gears are in the KAT. Lots of pictures.
Tomorrow will do the electrical work and finish the job.
Dan, thanks for the ideas. I used break clean and steel wool. Worked great and fast.

Kool Cat,

Add 2 MPH to that, I checked my with a Radar Gun, hate to think your going 4 or 5 over the speed limit when you are actually going 6 or 7 over.
Cool deal, Welcome to the club.

Took the stocker out the other day and it was boring.

If only I could afford them.
Guess I'll have to wait for the stock market to SLAM back up.

Well, all I can say is that I love those prowler pro gears. My Kat feels different, like a new toy, like it just got a dose of testosterone.
I want to thank Dean at Prowler Pro for his patience and support. Like to thank Dan Pena for his advice and tips. Would like to thank everyone on this page that help out with tips and convince me to install these gears.
I AM GLAD I DID !!!!!
Thanks all,
Frank
