Don't even ask, but I need a hood and Right headlight. Any suggestions to save a little money? They cost about $3000 from the dealer.

Thanks,

Keith

A few friends were in my garage looking at my Prowler. They loved it. Fortunately they have an eye for detail. They looked up in the rafters diretly above the hood and noticed two 5 gallon containers 1/2 way full of paint. No paint ever fell on my car but just the thought of it....OUCHHHHHHHHH. Paint cans have now been moved to a more judicious location.

Keith - While attending the Mich. 500 Indy car race in July, sat next to an insurance adjuster from some company near Detroit. We were talking cars and Prowlers, and he said that three weeks previous to race that he totaled a new red Prowler in the metro Detroit area. Car left road at high speed and into a shallow pond/lake and that physical damage was minor except tore off front right suspension, but car was sitting in water up to top of door. I'm sure some salvage company probably bought it for parts. Have your local body shops put in a info request to body shops in the Detroit area. Just a thought-you never know. I won't ask about the original hood either.

Keith,

I realize why you would rather not say what happened to your hood, but if it WAS avoidable, it might keep the same thing from happening to the rest of us. Just a thought.
