Ok my monitors intermittent bonging has me bonkers so I'm taking my Prowler in for surgery tonight. I have read everything on the dash removal and own a set of interior tools.

If I read the past threads correct, all I have to do is un-plug the TPS board on the upper left under the dash. Is it mandatory to remove the bulb or just leave it in.

Am I missing anything else before I go in?

Thanks Mike

Mike, for peace of mind remove the bulb while you have the dash open to pull the plug on the module. I've seen and read where some left the bulb in with no problem and others had to go back in a second time to remove the bulb. Weird.

Thanks Steve - Will Do!

When I get in there I'm going to put a few rubber pads here and there, I have a little noise coming from the dash as well.

Here's my surgery tools, the yellow one is actually a front brake lock for my Zero Electric motorcycle, I thought it might work well since it has some give with the rubber handle. The others are just standard interior tools.

Regretfully none of my tools would get in behind the front of the dash to pull it off. I remember someone on the forum made a tool, guess I'll find the post - looks like my only option.

Thanks

Mike,
The top/dash (Where the speakers are) and front of the dash are 1 piece. I always have had success (With a glove on as it can hurt your fingers and working on "1 side at a time")
Reach/slide your fingers on top of the dash between the windshield and end of the dash at the corners (IE: where your inspection sticker would be) And keep pressure towards you while you use a plastic body stick under the front part of the dash to pry towards you... If you work each side it shouls come out easy...
