...I have had the idea for some time to start a thread of vintage photos and memories for us old timers to visit once more and for the new guys to possibly get an idea what it was like in the early days...photos will be of my cars, your cars, people current and past, places we have traveled to, etc

...I would like to keep the photographs a minimum of 7-10 years old, but if your favorite memory is newer than that, that's fine too...just looking for a fun time with some fun memories...I have thousands of Prowler related pictures to share, some good, some not so good, my early camera was kinda like an Etch-A-Sketch so the quality will be lacking on much of what I post...if I post a picture of you or your car and you wish it removed, just send me a PM and it will be done...many of these shots were taken by me, some taken by other Prowler owners and all these years later I'm not really sure who took what, nor do I care...there will be no photo credits for anyone to argue about, LOL...the pictures will not be in any particular order or group, just random

...so let me begin by welcoming you to CAAP (Conner Avenue Assembly Plant)...step inside for a trip down memory lane, the door is always open

...last day Prowlers were assembled, building my own LOL

...drove this one 27K miles in 18 months, including some harsh winter time driving...it did well

...New Castle Prowlers at the Biltmore

...my first Prowler in a Memorial Day Parade, my dad was my passenger

...my 3rd Prowler ended up getting flames by the next owner, "Land Rocket", in Ohio...car is in England now

...bought my 2nd Prowler in Woodbridge Va. (Kohl Chrysler)...drove it home to Indiana in a terrible blizzard

...somehow ended up with 2 Yelo Prowlers, sold one and still have one

I can't believe those crazy Canadians wore those crazy hats. lol Some great memories there. I see Steve Clark's new car in a couple of shots, Pauley and his ever creative designs. Is that Phil Genet leaning into his car on the left side of the first picture, near the building, white shirt with red stripe? I don't recall if he was there. He probably was. Great shot of Tom Mills with Donnie, who was the local host.
The last one was at Churchill Downs, I think. That was the day Mike bought the High Voltage Blue at auction.

...apparently the runaway blimp landed at Genos house yesterday

...before doing the "Nursing Home Nationals" for 7 years, a friend of mine and I produced another series of cruise ins for 7 years...Phil Genet attended a couple of them, this photo is from 2005

Sorry for the XL pictures once I seen how big they were DIDNT figure they would load, then they did and made the rest small

I remember back in 1999 sitting at CAAP talking to Mike Krehel and he said he would like some way to share photos

POA was the channel change to allow the Prowler owners access to the information provided here.

In my opinion we are all part of the history and Mike, Judy, Tony, CJ and HEY BOB are the historians helping preserve the history of the car.

This thread started by Larry Bell lets us relive that moment we joined in on an event.

Many of these pictures are from Deadwood, where Larry Lord made a post he was going on vacation and who would like to join him. I think we had a whopping 58 Prowlers decind on Deadwood South Dakota the week of 4th of July.

Whether you are a newbi or old timer the pictures show the love of the cars, the spectacular places that the coordinator choose to showcase an area. Putting on an event is a lot of work that can be overwhelming but when it is all done the people have a great time.

CJ has done so much putting on the dream cruise events and will post pictures of some events later. And the GRANDADDY of events the 10th anniversary party at the Chrysler Museum. An event that will be hard to top.

Think the Orange is TIM Kinslow's car, that is his yellow duster on the far side. Think the Show was in Wanamaker, Indiana in front of Indy Cylinder Head

TIM sold the Prowler and duster since then and now has a 66 A100 pickup. I never could get him to join in on prowler events

The Smokies 2003. At the time the largest Prowler gathering. I think it remained the largest until the 10th Anniversary Event in 2007 which now continues to hold the record. I doubt that the 2007 record will ever be broken.

Sorry for the picture quality best I could find

Wisconsin Dells 2005. This one sticks out for me as I am in the picture twice. This was a panoramic camera like the Smokies that had to pan from left to right. I am on the front row first car on the left of the picture standing with my wife. Everyone stated yelling for me to run to the other end. I then ran behind the camera and jumped on the second row last car on the right. I am wearing white shorts. Due to size of the photo here its hard to see. This picture is one of my favorite conversation pieces.

AC giving the single finger salute to the camera and Marty Usher and Bob Longstreth (RPL) discussing lunch. Picture with AC comments below.

I seen Sno lift the camera for that upcoming shot,,,,,I had to react fast, lol.

Marty was discussing with Bob,,,,that he preferred 'prime rib' for lunch.

Tulsa 2007 Had to mention this one again as I, my wife Linda,Zack Goodman and his girlfriend hosted this event. I believe this is number 3 in the largest Prowler event category.(just shy of 100) Zack's girlfriend took this picture. He had sold his Prowler just before the event and they were driving a Mustang Convertible.

One of my personal favorites pictures. Every car in that line is a Prowler, The red car parked next to the median is Mike Gatlin doing video. His event DVD's are a must have.

It was during this event that we all signed poster and made a short video wishing Phil Genet to get better soon. He was battling cancer. Phil was probably the nicest man I have ever met in my entire life. I think I can safely say everyone felt the same. He passed before Larry was able to get the video and poster to him.

The wonderful people we have met because of the Prowler and the POA are the true value of ownership and membership.

Phil was a great guy. Remember him getting stopped by the Highway Patrolman in Texas for obstructing and Tom Randall having to intercede?

And I think too, Rich, this may be the only group picture with iScream in it as well...

Scenic site for that photo shoot, and an overall GREAT event that Real Rod, Geno and I put together, with help from others.

Unfortunately Ray that is not correct. The iScream Prowler is also in the 10th Anniversary event photo. That is it in the front rich side of the photo with a dark color parked behind. The Black Tie in the lower right was Bob Nardelli's Prowler.

Photos from the Smokies event 2003 When Frank and Brandi aka The Cliff Hangers went off the road on The Tail of The Dragon. They drove the car home back to Florida after the event. Someone was watching over them that day. They were lucky that log was there between the two trees.

Hi Rich, I meant of the "remote" events ... certainly iScream was at the 10th in Detroit. Sorry for not being more clear in my statement.
