Well, It looks like my ad on Barnstormers.com produced fruit. I'm off on an 800 mile road trip today to trade my car and trailer even for a Cessna-172. The only thing I'm leery about is the trailer tires are over 20 years old. There's only a couple hundred pounds riding on each one so I feel they are probably OK. Stay tuned. |

Good luck Bryan,,,safe travels, both ways Trailer tires should be ok,,I just replaced my boat trailer tires which were 29 years old with many miles on them. More really important to keep a keen eye on crap on the highway to avoid running over. Darn alligators from semi-truck blow-outs can really ruin your day.... |

Check the tires on the plane as well .... they tale a beating upon landing and a blow out there can be equally, if not moreso devastating ... Congrats and goos luck on the road trip! |
