The Clockspring will NOT fix the turn signal problem you mentioned in another thread. The Clockspring controls the buttons on the steering wheel and the Airbag. If the Airbag lite is on or the cruise control, radio buttons do not work, then it is the clockspring.

The turn signal problem could be
1. a fuse in the fuse block.
2. and/or the turn signal/hazard fuses in the PDC.
3. the combination flasher
4. battery voltage to the flasher

Hope this helps to find the problem.
Steve

Could be clockspring.
I replaced my clockspring several years ago. Do you have a car manual to assist you??

Had mine come on after hitting a series of bumps on Route 9. Could just be the connection.

Someone told me the Clockspring has something to do with the intermitent wipers not working. Or is that the motor?

CHECKED EVERYTHING - AIRBAG LIGHT ON IN THE DASHBOARD - RADIO CONTROLLERS AND WIPERS WORK.
1. a fuse in the fuse block. - CHECKED, EVERYTHING OK. NO FUSE BLOWN
2. and/or the turn signal/hazard fuses in the PDC. - CHECKED, EVERYTHING OK. NO FUSE BLOWN
3. the combination flasher - YOU MEAN THE EMERGENCY FLASHERS ? THEY DO NOT WORK
4. battery voltage to the flasher - JUST CHANGED THE BATTERY A COUPLE OF MONTH AGO -SAME VOLTAGE AS BEFORE- NOT HAD PROBLEMS UNTIL NOW.

WHAT CAN IT BE ?'''''

Order a Clockspring and a Service Manual. Pick up when you go to LA next week. You will need a wheel puller to remove the steering wheel if you do the job yourself.

I guess it will be the best stevedymo to get a new clockspring when I'm in LA. In this case I'm thinking of getting a custom steering wheel from buddy..... once I got the steering wheel off.......:-)

Mine's probably getting ready to go too. Recently, when I try to adjust the radio volume using the controls on the steering wheel it changes the radio station instead.

GOT THE NEXT CLOCKSPRING IN - THE CHRYSLER DEALER DOWN HERE DID THE WORK - BUT THE AIRBAG LIGHT STILL WILL COME ON.

CRUISE CONTROL, RADIO VOLUME, WORK'S.

SOME TIMES AFTER THE THE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON THE THE FAN (HEATER/AC) AND TURN SIGNALS WILL NOT WORK ?

FOUND OUT THAT WHEN I TURN THE FAN ON HIGH WHEN I START THE CAR EVERYTHING WORKS FINE, BUT SOME TIMES WHEN I DON´T TURN ON THE FAN BLOWER UP HIGH AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT COME ON THE FAN AND TURN LIGHT DOESN'T WORK. IT ONLY HAPPENS LIKE ONCE ON 100 TIMES BUT SOMETHING IS WRONG -

SOMEBODY HAS A IDEA WHAT I CAN BE ?
