Thinking about getting a wonderbar,would like to know if anyone in the Detroit area knows of someone or a dealer that knows how to install one. |

I will be installing Wonder Bars during the Woodward event. More information will be posted after I get back from vacation. RPL is working on a vendor section during the cruise. I and other vendors will be participating in it. I just spoke with Gary from Prowler Parts and he is also planning on showing products during the event. |

wb, they are fairly simple to install. Not a lot of technical knowledge or tools needed. I am sure you can get plenty of free help in August if you want to wait that long. It is a HUGE improvement. |

What Larry didn't say is that he is "Mr. Wonderbar" himself. I have a 2001. The ride quality was vastly improved after my wonderbar was installed. I only wish I had purchased it sooner. Bought it from Larry at his shop in Colton. A standup guy! |

A Wonder Bar is a direct bolt in replacement for the stock stabilizer bar that offers an amazing difference in your Prowler’s ride quality. By utilizing a smaller diameter and hollow tube, the Wonder Bar allows your front wheels to operate more independently and smooth out your ride. The Wonder Bar has less torsional strength than the stock stabilizer bar and gives a noticeable difference in ride quality over rough road surfaces or when one wheel hits a pothole or bump. Your Prowler’s effective spring rates are not compromised for straight line driving but are lessened while one wheel reacts independently of the other or during cornering or over bumps. You will notice a very slight increase in body roll during hard cornering but will also notice a marked increase in front traction. Do not confuse the Wonder Bar with any of the many aftermarket braces that others have offered for the Prowlers. · A brace is just that. It’s a brace to help keep your frame from flexing. · A Wonder Bar is a direct bolt-in replacement for your front stabilizer bar. Stabilizer bars are also often referred to as anti-roll bars or sway bars and are an integral part of you car's suspension. Major Causes of UNDERSTEER a.k.a. PUSH Too large front bar vs. rear sway bar Too small front tires or narrow rim width Too stiff front springs Low front tire pressure Oversize rear tires The Wonder Bar will not only smooth your ride but it will also help to make your car handle better. ------------------ |

Ken I am a hairstylist and my buddy and I did it ... You do need to get under the car so ramps are a must cause you need to use some force and a jack wont cut it |

Installed my wonderbar last night, and all I can say is wow. I was surprised at the difference in the ride! Besides the notable handling, my CD skip is all but gone. Only pain was getting the nuts in place for bolting the stabilizer bar back on. Job ended up taking about 1.5 hrs |

I had my Wonderbar installed by my local Dodge dealer. It cost $60.00 to have put on. The ride difference on my 99 is very noticeable. Even my wife noticed the difference. |

I purchased my 2001 Silver Prowler in February, 2007. I have done a lot of customizing to it. However, the best thing I have done was replace the factory stabilizer bar with "Larry's Wonder Bar". It improved the riding and handling by +300%. I would highly recommend the wonder bar replacement to your Prowler. |

I CERTAINLY RECEIVED IT AS PROMISED, AND NO, I DID NOT INSTALL IT, BUT EVEN WITHOUT INSTALLING IT , I MET A NEIGHBOR WITH TWO. YEP TWO PROWLERS AND HE'S ONLY A FEW MILES AWAY. I MENTIONED THAT THE CLUB REALLY GIVES IT A THUMBS UP.
