Did some searches to see if anybody had ever put a lift kit on a Kat, but came up with nothing. I would like to try it if nobody else has. |

Do you mean like a body lift or suspension lift so you can put Super Swamper tires on it? |

Well I don't exactly know about swamper tires, but some much larger rims and tires would probably get some major attention at some of the events. |

Take off the front fender and you can use any size tire/wheels you want. On the rears you are limited the frame rail in front of teh rear tires. I had tro grind down the top edge of terh frame rails slightly when I went with 305/45/20 tires that were 31.66" in diameter. Any larger diameter than that and you would need to do some cutting and I have no idea what kind of issues that would cause. |

Dou think with some custom offset wheels, and wheel spacers might get the job done? I know somebody must have experimented with some wheel spacers on the Kat. |

Go look at the frame rail immediately in front of the rear tires and you can measure how are out the wheels would have to be pushed to clear. I've got oversized tires but it would probably be 6 inches or more - (from memroy, I did not measure) then the tires would rub in the fenders (without the lift you asdked about on this threads first post) |

I suggest you ask George Maxey, he's probably maxed it out as far as it'll go, or at least he'll know the capacity limits. I believe he has 19's on the front and 22's on the back. |
