THis weekend 24-25 June is the Corvettte-Viper Shootout in Hockenheim. If anyone would like to meet on the A6 before entering the Ring we could meet and show our colors!!!!!. We rule! You don't really want to watch Germany in the World Cup Sat do you; they will win anyway... dave andrews Ami in Germany |

I was there, where were you ???? The Corvette Euro Meet is for the Corvette Guys ok, or a must be, but for the US Classic Car and Hot Rodders it´s not the thing. We have 4 more Hockenheim Raceway Events this year. RecaroTuning Show, PublicDragRacing, Nitro-Olymics Top Fuel Drag-Racing, Grand-Nats, US Car Show (big). I post some Infos after the events. Sunday we had a nice Classic Car Show , held bei GM´s OPEL Company in Rüsselsheim. ( were they build the cars..) |

Sorry I missed you. I was not able to make the first day but I was there on day two. I think the drags are more interesting anyway. There were not as many cars this year but the vipers were good to google over... The cost to drag was really too much this year, over 150 euros...too thick for my blood. Let me know the next meeting you are attending and I will try to sow up this time dave and manuela |

Yes, the Event was to expensiv, for what you get. If you want to race on the dragstrip, the thunderdrome nats at the hockenheimring are interesting. Its public drag racing at the or. quartermile from the Nitro-Olympics. The weekend later are the big Nitro-Olympics at the Hockenheim Raceway. First Sept. week 2006 is one of the bigest an best US Car Events at the same location.
