In looking at the Scrape Book pics, I've only seen one Kat with the Badge removed. Has anyone else taken theirs off? The front edge of mine doesn't lay flat on the hood, neither does it look like it would, as the hood is not flat like the back of the badge......catches on my polishing cloth now and then. If one were to use a blow dryer to heat up the glue behind the Badge, do ya think this would allow me to remove the Badge and not mess up the paint? Just a thought!!!!!!!!! |

Ed is so damn cheap, he has used the same piece of floss for 3 years-for teeth, hood badges and underwear. |

For all to hear, I am very proud to say I have every tooth in my mouth that I was born with? Why use dental floss, when they have UPS. My hair line is receding not to hair loss but I exercise a lot and my forehead is getting bigger. |

Well Guy's and Gal's.....I went with the blow dryer and dental floss.....floss kept breaking......tryed the fishing line, 6 #test, that kept breaking.....so I got out my #2 wood chizel and finishing hammer and got that sucker right off.....had a lot of black, sticky, tape like stuff under that, but with my phneumatic side grinder, got that off with no problem. You would not believe how it turned out....if I knew how to post a pic, I'd show ya. But, on the serious side....I got it off with no problem, using a combination of all your ideas. Used a product called, Desolve It....a cirtus product and it's slick as can be......ordered my Zanio, kit and will start on that in a few days. |

L.D.D. - glad you said you used everyone's ideas,,,,,sucking up is a good thing here,,,,especially if using Ed's three year old dental floss I liked the part about using the grinder to get off the sticky crap, lol. You are going to fit right in here at the POA |
