Here is a 97 that has only 97 miles on it. 8years and only 97 miles, that works to little bit more than 10 miles a year. What is the point? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1997-Plymouth-Prowler-Never-Titled-Only-97-Miles_W0QQitemZ4586423743QQcategoryZ6414QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |

My guess is they purchased it as an investment only. This message has been edited by BeWare on 11-06-2005 at 10:21 AM |

with any specialty car, there are always people that will do this. He may have to hang on to it a few more years to make any money over list price. |

To each his/her own. Some use as daily drivers, some collect as a piece of art. Whatever makes you happy! |

Look on the positive side of this. Fact: The Prowler is out of production, and less than 12k were crafted. Consider these groups of people not driving their Prowlers as a 'storage bank' for our future use. Sometime in the future they will/may sell their prize, which has been in 'moth balls' for years and years. If you are one of the many who accumulate lots of miles, sooner or later your Prowler will be consumed/worn out! You can then flip your old used up Prowler for a almost brand new one! |

Take a close look at this car it is not a 97 unless he changed out the headlights. Or am I missing something here? ------------------ |

From the outside there is no way to determine if a Prowler is a 97 or a 99. If you look under the hood or raise the deck lid that's when you can tell. |
