![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Can you program a alarm/keyless entry remote without a working remote or will I have to take it to a dealer? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() To the best of my knowledge you need a drb to program your keyless entry, any Chrysler or Dodge dealer will have one. Barry This message has been edited by bbcar on 08-26-2004 at 03:14 PM |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() On a related note (as a public service announcement) there are some cars (not Chryslers that I know of, definitely some Fords, specifically my 2003 Ford Escape) that require TWO WORKING KEYS in order to program others yourself. Charges as high as $250 have been reported to program a new key if someone loses or damages one of the two keys that came with the car. As a heads up, if you have any cars with chips in the key, you would be well-advised to find out the procedure to add others (or, just get an extra or 2 to be safe). FWIW -GRROWL |
