Red5 just stopped by this evening and got to see his new Black Tie edition ... sharp car! When he and his fiance were leaving, he "unlocked" the car with his fob and I noticed his side marker lights flashed ... curious and unknowing, I went to my yellow '99 and cycled the lock and unlock from my fob and no such flash! Question ... is this a difference between the two years and when did it change, OR is this a "programable" feature that is lurking within my Kat somewhere ... OK, let the feedback begin! |

Hmmmm..........I have three different year manuals and I couldn't find anything that referred to this....Now I'm going to have to try that out on both cats tomorrow!  |

Our side marker lights flash on the 2000 and 2001,,,when opening with the remote fob. I'll check the big Prowler bible tomorrow,,,,,,but I'll bet GRROWL will find the answer before me. GRROWL eats and sleeps with the big book, lol. |

Ray I didn't see anything about the lights in my manual either, but I did find the directions to activate the autolock feature on the doors. I looked into the exhaust also, thanks for pointing that one out. How do I add the list of mods to my Kat to the bottom of my posts? |

Come on CJ ... waiting anxiously to see what you found on yours and from what ... um, the "little bird" might have to say on this feature. Jessie, no problem ... happy to have been of some help. Stop by any time! No idea how to add stuff ... one guy onhere does the Avatar's (sp?) but I am pretty 'puter illiterate ... good luck! |

Sorry, Ray, I was busy working outside today and totally forgot about this, but I just went out to the garage to try it. The side marker lights on my 99 did NOT flash when I unlocked it with the key fob. DUH.........I forgot I don't have side marker lights on the 2002 because of my louvered side panels.......so I can't answer that one. |
