Apparently, it's contagious, there is also this one:

Read what it says on the American flag graphic at the bottom.

I have concluded that most salesman at dealerships are completely ignorant of what they are selling. I have personally been told the following by various salesfolk about the prowler:

1 - We only have the convertible model left. All coupes have been sold.

2 - All the ones we have left are automatic.

3 - There is no such model as this "Black-Tie" you speak of, someone must have done the paint job themselves

4- The Woodward has a plaque on the dash tellin what number it is

5 - these are special order, the only way to get one is to give us a $5K deposit and order it they way you want

Some dealers are strange..I went to a local dealer to see if he would help us in our charity car show (Kats and P/Ts) They sell a ton of P/T's but I've never seen a Prowler..Anyway, the GM said sure , they'd post a flyer for thr P/Ts. Thought that was nice (no contribution) and when I went outside every salesman was hanging around my 2000 red and started asking questions: what is it? Plymouth made those? How come you got automatic? Did they make (ready for this...)a four door? It's only a six? How many years ago did they make them? This is the same dealer that when I moved down here wouldn't do an oil change on my wifes 300M because we didn't buy it there. 5 Star my #%*. D/C heard about that! I still drive 50 miles each way to go to my original dealer who is 5 star in every way!

ND96 - I'm not surprised about the questions the salesmen asked you. Most of the high pressure dealerships turn over many of their sales force every 60 to 120 days. Many new sales people sell their friends, family, and neighbors,,,then run out of sales ability to sell the average person walking in off the street. Product knowledge and fianancing are the keys to a successful sales person. The ones asking you those questions will probably not be there the next time you go to that dealership. The good ones would have never asked you those questions. JMO

The add states this is a 2001 "PLYMOUTH" Prowler. If this is true it was the last year the Plymouth was made. Later in 2001 and all 2002 were made by Chrysler. I may be wrong , but I have been told that a few of the last Plymouths were painted blue.
