While my battery was dying not long ago, it made my alarm system go nuts and I had to disconnect the battery cable. Seems my Alpine alarm blew out in the process. I thought my Teletrac transmitter blew too but it seems their service area has shrank and I am no longer in it (it only covers the San Fernando Valley and south now).

I went to my alarm guy today to have my alarm replaced and was asking him about any other GPS locater systems for tracking my kat (in case it got stolen). He said he was just told about a new one coming out and he would have to get back to me.

I did find one on the net - AerTrax - anybody heard of it? I guess it is a division of AerTech?

I don't want to go with Lojack if I don't have to because of the way the tracking is done, I would rather have a real-time transmitter so the car can be found instantly.

Cliff,
Haven't heard of them. I wish I had ANY choices. I was told the OKC doesn't have the demand here. Bummer.
