Todd have you ever checked out who's on line before you've signed on we all show up as guests untill we sign on most probably are POA members just not talking. PK |

Keith, yep, I had signed on and it showed myself, 3 regulars and TWENTY guests! |

Todd-get on the POA site, do not sign in, then go to who is on line, it will show you as a guest viewing, it should not show your name. Then sign in and go who is on line and it should show you (your POA name) as who is viewing. I do not always sign in as I do not always have something to say. But please try what I said and see if it works that way, I could be wrong but this has been my experience. Maybe you are automatically signed on when you go to the site but I am not. The problem has to do with setting your cookies. I have tried setting my cookies and each time I come to this site I am listed in the "Who's on line" site, but if I don't I am listed as a guest. My cookies stay set for only a week, but some have their "preferences" set for a long time. I don't. I don't have enough memory to keep everything for a long time. So Tod and Taz you are both right, and both wrong. Get it? If the cookies were peanut butter or chocolate chip I would keep them a lot longer. |

Well on my computer it goes this way when I go to the POA site I usually go straight to the discussion board and click it takes to the one that shows all the different parts ect and how many are members and guests viewing, I haven't signed in yet> If I click to view who's on line my name doesn't show as a member "just a guest who's viewing" thats what I meant. I have to type in my password everytime I want to post even though each time a little window pops up and askes me if I want my password saved ect and I then click on the yes box it still doesn't auto log it on each time for me, something with my cookie setting I know and don't have the patients to figure it out anymore. So when I have seen how many guests there have been sometimes I just figured they hadn't logged in their password to show their name yet or to post yet. PK |
