My 1970 Duster got rear-ended so I took the 340 V8 out and stuck it in the Kat. Ever since the front tires have been wearing unevenly. I guess it's the extra weight up front. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Yes, same problem,,,,,even worse, when I installed the 500ci blown Hemi in my cat. Think it had something to do with the bent A-arms overloaded with weight? Wildcat, is today April Fool's Day? lol |

Bill, As you already know, the problem was not the front end tires wearing unevenly because of the V8 but the front wheel helo-bumper supports you installed. Try removing them, and paint it "RED", that should help. ------------------ This message has been edited by MeanGene on 04-03-2002 at 07:38 AM |

If you change your muffler bearings and add 300 pounds in the truck that will fix your problems. ------------------ |

Hey, It was April 1st. I had to see if I could at least get a nibble. I'm happy with our Kat the way it is but I have to admit it doesn't look too bad with that stuff sticking up through the hood! ------------------ |
