MOPAR MANIA Was the Electric blue really made last ?? I dont think so ! I seen this car at the Sema show in Vegas last year way before Chrysler discontinued it . I have pictures . It was in the Mopar display . It said Electric Blue Prowler with a Concept Hard Top. If you look around at different web sites you can see it in a lot of pictures. ------------------ |

I've seen pictures of a blue at shows. It isn't THE Electric Blue. Mike was at CAAP and followed the Blue through assembly. He, BTW, got the last candy red which was on the line right in front of the blue. ------------------ |

Two totally different cars. The other was probably repainted again or scraped. The last Blue has signatures of the line workers hidden under the carpets and behind panels etc. By the way I love your 55. My first car was a 56 Dodge Custom Royal Sedan. I bought while I was in High School with money I earned delivering newspapers. ------------------

Moparmania......the Electric Blue Prowler you saw at SEMA is an older Prowler that was repainted for the show and fitted with a hardtop. My husband used the same paint on his specialty Jeep that was also in the display. It was the Reyn Spooner Wrangler that was painted the Electric Blue and Lime Green with the surfboards and the interior was done by Reyn Spooner. The last Prowler which is called the "Conner Avenue Edition" was built the last week of production. Mike and Judy Krehel and I were there the entire week following it down the line right behind Mike and Judy's Candy Red Cat, watching it being built. This cat has taupe seats and an annodized frame. Not the same cat at all! DC would not try to pass off a show vehicle as being the last Prowler built, either.
