I have a guestion and dont know if I am understanding my dealer correctly. I have been dealing with a dealer that has the following prowler inventory. USED 2000 yellow 800 miles, 2000 Woodward 900 miles, NEW 2000 yellow, 2001 Plymouth Orange, 2001 Plymouth silver. I just bought a new black tie from them. They said last week that DC has offered to "buy back" the unsold new prowlers. Therefore they have dropped the price to invoice and have offered some nice accessory packages for low costs like bra's, covers, paint protection etc. Yesterday I stopped at my other dealer and looked at a 2001 Chrysler silver and they said they would sell it for $500 over invoice or $44,300 with a cover, flaps and paint protection. They said they know of no "buy back" except for the neon and I was given wrong info by the other dealer. Is DC in the process of offering to buy back prowlers from dealers and if so what does DC do with a bunch of Plymouth prowlers once they get them back? I realize sales are soft and the new gold is not gonna be very popular, but what is the scoop on all the prowlers at the dealers especially plymouths that have been there for months? |
