For those of us that live in a front plate state like Ohio, what is the best way and most cost effective way that anyone has displayed their plate? Do you like the way your plate looks? Richard ------------------ |

Richard...I just installed the Real Rod bracket and I like it. It tucks under the LF bumper and is not real noticable unless you are lookin straight on to the car. I did not want to give the men in blue any additional reasons to pull me over. As soon as the thermometer goes above 50 we can get together. I want to hear your Borla and see the Weekender! ------------------ |

Rich, I don't use my front plate. Keeping my fingers crossed and have not been stopped yet. Hopefully if I am stopped, I'll get a warning and then maybe have to put it on. I think it looks best without! Andy ------------------ This message has been edited by Andy R on 03-10-2001 at 01:52 PM |

I used the realrod bracket (not cheep $100.00). Cut and added a couple of hinges and a bracket on the back so it can be retracted when not needed. seeit. now you don't. |

Ken, This weekend looks real nice if it wasn't for all the salt dust everywhere. I kinda hate to get that stuff on the cat. Richard ------------------ |

I just do it by hand for now. Flips up and down. Plan on connecting a actuator with a pull cable later. |

They have one that flips up. I know someone that has it on his `40 buick. Not sure where he got it. I'm sure it is less than $100, Tim is cheap. I will check with him next week. Check out hot rod shop to see if they have plate frame that flips up. ------------------ |
