It was a great evening and we are looking forward to as much cruising as we can fit in!!! It's supposed to rain today/tonight, so I doubt we will be able to get out there tonight. Bob is leaving for California today on business and won't be back until Friday morning, so I will be out cruisin' by myself, hoping to catch up with some other cats!! I will continue to add pictures to the scrapbook as the week progresses. Hope you enjoy them! See you all on Woodward!! Here are Monday night's pics: John Davies..........Harold asked how you were doing. I told him better enough to put your Silver Bullet in a car show last night and he said to tell you that was great and hello!!! Oops!! My passenger is here.........gotta go......see you on Woodward and the board later tonight!! This message has been edited by CJ on 08-15-2002 at 03:26 PM What is happening??? What owners are there??? Pics to follow... had a wonderful time, met some more fellow cat owners ... will repost again soon! All I can say is WOW !... and.... GO SHOPPING WITH CJ first chance you get! You and Fixumm can start your own shopping club! I supposed you can let Stray Cat join, too! What owners are there??? (If not who [stealth] then how many?) CAAP Tour??? Black T event??? Fun times??? Hula-hoop winner ??? Feed us, we are hungry for knowledge!!! Everything.........this was a happenin' town this weekend! We hung out with the Scholtens, Ellsassers, Hackers, Gatlins, GPS John, Harve Disner, Clarks, John Buherle, two Genes, John Baker and about 1.8 million of our close, personal friends! CAAP shopping trip was a success.......especially for several people in particular!! Black Tee was a blast, but it wasn't the same without Dan "Elvis" Pena.........Dan, this year's Elvis had NOTHING on you! LOTS of fun times..........stories tomorrow. Hoola Hoop contest?..........no clue! Only have to starve a little while longer for pics and stories!! This message has been edited by CJ on 08-17-2002 at 11:49 PM All I can say is WOW !... and.... GO SHOPPING WITH CJ first chance you get! GenoTex - Been there, done that, and bought the t-shirt,,plus more! I think she gets a commission from the sales, but will not confirm Glad you had a great time, and wish I was there! It would be hard to top lasts year WDC event! CJ - I ate a big dinner,,,,,so I can starve alittle longer I do NOT get a commission........never have, never will! If I had........I'd have had enough money to buy another Prowler!! lol! Anyway, it's more fun to spend other people's money! Just to stave off your hunger until I can get the rest of the pictures done, here's one for you........saw Peggy Sue and Buddy Holly at the Black Tee event. Since I did not attend the Make A Difference event, I have no idea who won the HH contest......someone else will have to fill you in on that one! ------------------ He took his to show his friend Diana, and like you have heard, Marilyn really liked being the center of attention so she had to have hers, Black T a blast as usual, weather was perfect, company was excellent, crowd was huge, the best entertainers from last year were back again this year...and the cars and crowds on Woodward were bigger and better than ever! This message has been edited by MIKE GATLIN on 08-18-2002 at 10:17 AM Mike - Last year, Diana had her picture taken with the Alley Cat and even wanted to take me home for the night. Alright, someone will have to come up with the name of the hula-hoop winner, as the Make-A-Difference representative to the POA isn't posting names. Pauley, ice cream was better than ever and didn't run out this year, Wildcat, enuff new stuff at Chrysler store for another shopping trip...I looked and your "Johnny Lightening" is still on display at McDonalds on Woodward at 13 mile. Ed, Karen and I made the entire north/south Woodward run twice yesterday...more cars than ever, more bizarre sites than ever, but I didn't see a single car backing up at 60mph anywhere on Woodward..you still have that distinction. This message has been edited by MIKE GATLIN on 08-18-2002 at 03:33 PM CJ Well........the craziness has begun!!! Bob and I went cruisin' on Woodward last night. The excitement is already high and there were hundreds and hundreds of cars out enjoying the beautiful evening. It was still 81 degrees when we left and it was a perfect cruising evening. Joe Ellsasser, Sales Manager at Golling Chrysler Jeep Inc. joined us for the evening. Jill was not able to make it. We'd hoped that Jerry and Marcia would make it, but we never did see them. Harve Disner and a friend of his caught up with us also. He has a red cat and I remembered meeting him last year at the same place. He and Joe have known each other for a long time, also. We saw another yellow cat with a plate that said "MEANCAT". We tried to wave them over, but they were more interested in cruising. We also talked to another gentleman who said he was very interested in buying a Prowler, so of course, we gave him every reason that he should. He kept coming back to look at the cats and chat with us. I gave him one of my POA flyers and encouraged him to get on the board and check out the site! MZBHVNN CJ, look forward to meeting you this weekend. Where are we meeting for the visit to the CAAP Store or can you give me info. Thanks...... ALLEY CAT MEMORIES

No...GPS did not buy dinner............at least not mine!Laddie Roussel Anyone see the Tangerine Dream Cruiser 2 in person? And, what did you think?
MIKE GATLIN No matter what we did, we couldn't get these people to quit wanting their picture taken with us...mention you are driving a Prowler, and here comes Buddy Holly,..although he got a little irritated when I asked him about the plane tickets.
MIKE GATLIN Laddie, saw the Tangerine and my 1st impression was mild version of Sparkle Orange, similar color without the texture, but it looked good. DC had a gigantic PT owners event the night of the Black T..no idea how cars...many more than last year for the group photo. Laddie Roussel Thanks Mike. You don't have a pic do you... CJ - I was only pulling your chain about the commission, notice double in that post.ed monahan Alley Cat, I have heard from informed sources that Hot Hips (not to be confused with her twin sister Hot Lips) Houlihan won the contest. That is just her screen name, of course. MIKE GATLIN Laddie, I might have a picture on video tape, I'll send it to you if I do. Larry, Diana was asking about you and disappointed you weren't there. The Elvis impersonator was real disappointed you weren't there...said he was dying to run his fingers thru your thick black hair like last year...I pretended to know what he was talking about! ALLEY CAT Ed - Hot Hips won it all,,,,,thanks! I should have known she would win.
Gatlin - That was Diana who ran her fingers through my thick locks! She still would have asked me to take her home for the night, over you, because you didn't cash that last 'payola' check and shelved her records ed monahan Ironically, Diana and Elvis rotate roles as both are female impersonators, as well as celebrity look alikes. Therefore last year's Elvis is this year's Diana and vice versa. Alley Cat finds that even more exciting. Sad, isn't it? lol
Mike G. I am glad to hear that they have larger crowds and SMARTER crowds. lol. Sounds like everyone had a great time. I wish we could have made it.
