Randy CobbLast spring I did a lot of research on tires for my 2002 yellow.
Believe it or not I still have the original Goodyear run flats on. The car was only driven 100 miles in 2017 for various reasons, but I'm going to get some tires now.
I'm not crazy over the Continental tread design and have had bad luck with Continentals as passenger car tires. Great luck with their 18 wheel tire.
Tire dealer I use recommends Toyo or Nitto. Toyo has different tire for front and back, but that doesn't bother me.
Nittos are a matching set. I am leaning towards the Toyo due to tread design, rating and price.

Any one tried Toyo or Nitto and how do you like them?

401KATI have nitto's .... Love em.. ...
alrtgMy 2000 still has Goodyear EMT OE Style tires on it but they are the second set as I replaced the originals in 2010 with tires from the 2008 production run.

With 55K miles on the car now, I will soon be in need of another set of tires for the car.

IF I had the opportunity to purchase another new set of the same tires, I would do it without any second thoughts but....since the chances Goodyear will be making any further production runs of these tires is virtually zero, I will need to look at other options.

I have been looking at Pirelli P Zero tires as a possibility for my car but they are NOT Run Flat tires.
P Zero - Size: 225/45R17
7-8.5"..Rim Width
7.5".....Measured Rim Width
8.9".....Section Width
NA.......Tread Width
25"......Overall Diameter
833......Revolutions per mile

P Zero - Size: 295/40R20
10-11.5"..Rim Width,
10.5".......Measured Rim Width
11.9".......Section Width
10.1".......Tread Width
29.3".......Overall Diameter
N/A.........Revolutions per Mile

Pirelli also offers a P Zero Run Flat but not in exact sizes for our cars. They offer some that may work but I don't know just how well they would work as far as look and fit.
P Zero Run Flat - Size: 205/50R17
5.5-7.5"..Rim Width
6.5".......Measured Rim Width
8.7".......Section Width
6.5".......Tread Width
24.9".....Overall Diameter
N/A........Revolutions per mile

P Zero Run Flat - Size: 295/45ZR20
9.5-11"..Rim Width
10"........Measured Rim Width
11.7".....Section Width
10.1".....Tread Width
30.5".....Overall Diameter
N/A........Revolutions per mile

It appears that MAYBE if someone like me had their heart set on Run Flat Tires, these sizes might be close enough to do the job and MAYBE look acceptable on the car at the same time.
I would encourage constructive input in this matter but PLEASE no debate about run flat VS non run flat.

This is a link for the Tire Rack site when searching fro stock size tires and the choices they offer.

NOTE: If you search by vehicle, they will show zero choices as they are no matching run flat in OE sizes they currently offer.

ALLEY CATRandy,,, I'm running Toyo tires, and I'm happy with them..
padrooA set my first set of Toyo tires came on my new Toyota Prius, they are a big company.
401KATHere's a comparison...run flat--nitto...jim
padrooIt doesn't take many tires to fill up a pickup truck.

Last week I loaded mine up in my truck and took them to the tire shop and had the original tires removed.
My Prowler has the wheels I bought from Buddy C that were rechromed.
