druI have been looking for a front frame cover (a piece that hides the front of the frame from view from the front). It may go by different names. GaryE used to make them but doesn't anymore. I think Pantera did too, but they are no longer listed on his old site either. I am quoting an old post to show a picture. Other ones may look a little different. If anyone has one they would be willing to sell, or a description on how they made theirs, please PM me or respond here. I wasn't sure whether to post here or classifieds. Thanks

I am looking for some input on a possible new product. The part, as shown in the pictures, goes behind the custom grills, including mine, that you can see through. It will work with any grill out there. It is made of 18 gauge steel, and covers the frame and helps hide the battery. The part could be made available un-finished or with black power coating. The only problem is that the part requires the drilling and taping of two(1/4"-20)holes and 1 hole, 1/4", for mounting the air bag sensor, into the frame. The cost will be determined by volume. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks Gary
RichOMy concern would be air flow to radiator. The mesh grills, in particular have been known to cause overheating with superchargers. I just painted everything that shows flat black and it does the trick.

Had mine on for years, Will not effect the cooling at all. Contact Gary Emfield at 949 380 8587 here in California as he is the one I believe was making them, They are very nice & do cover alot.

Phil, I contacted Gary to start with, he is not making them anymore and he doesn't have any either. He suggested I post a request.

George, That mesh looks pretty good. Did you do that yourself or bought it like that. And by the way, did the Limited Edition have a color change operation?

His front frame cover is no longer on his website ( http://www.prowlerproducts.com/Main%20page.html ).
George JohnsonMine has the chrome plate battery cover over the top of the mesh that I purchased from another Prowler Owner:
dbudnerI would just remove and chrome the parts behind the grill.
