catfishthere are may diff.ones out there.if you buy from the ps.and have to send it back,beware.the heat shield is Worthless,doesnt do anything on a prowler.some of the intakes are close to the ground,to me that means more dirt.

Do a search about cold air intakes. Way back a lot of folks tried a lot of stuff. You might find some interesting info.
quincyI do not believe you can do better than the current OEM location unless you literally go outside the passenger side panel. Problem with that is ingesting water into the engine when your caught in the rain, like I always am. You can buy a Fram air hog high flow replacement filter or a K & N replacement filter. They need to be washed, air dried, and reoiled every so often.
