1HOTCATWe will be installing these at Woodward cruise event, so far I really like the lack of wind in the car when driving with it. If interested in this product go to the classified section to found out more about it. The last picture is with the the wind suppressor light on, it is hocked up to your running lights.

BeWareI wish these would work with a waterfall installed.
cnote6Great looking mod...
WindsuppressorThese are very high quality! Made of 3/8 thick crystal clear Polycarbonet (same thing bullet proof glass is made of)With a scratch resistant finish on both sides, precision CNC machined. Prowler Logo and Cat machined in (not etched)a full .020 deep to give it a very cool 3-D look when the light hits it. The mounting brackets are chrome plated steel that bolt on to the Anodized Aluminum billet knuckles with chrome plated screws.
It lights up using the newest of technology electroluminescent wire its like a flexible neon light. Comes with a 6 month full replacement warranty and another 6 month pro-rated warranty. And as with the Windsuppressor I make for the Chevy SSR I offer a full no questions asked return policy for the first 7 days. You get you don't like it for any reason return it for a prompt 100% refund. Call me at 248-672-5390 to place your order all credit cards accepted. Will ship on August 20 also will be available at the Woodward Dream Cruise.
WindsuppressorI wanted to revive this old thread for everyone that has purchased a Prowler Windsuppressor in the past 5 years.
After many requests from Prowler Windsuppressor owners There is now an extension available for the trunk latch And the best part ITS FREE for anyone that purchased a Prowler Windsuppressor (well almost free you do have to pay $15 for shipping and handling)
If you live near my shop in Walled Lake MI stop by pick one up won't cost a dime that way.
Thanks to some Prowler owners that had previously purchased a Windsuppressor I have developed (with their help) an extension for the latch that the Windsuppressor partially blocks. No more trying to fit 2 fingers under the Windsuppressor to open latch.
You will be required to drill a 7/32 hole in trunk latch Feed the coated cable through from the back side of latch, make a loop to whatever sze you prefer and tighten the 2 set screws in the supplied clamp Its that simple.
All those that purchased a Windsuppressor will receive one (with instructions for installation) 248-672-5390 or emailing rhobbel@aol.com

Grt guy657how do you release the top?
ed monahanYou drill a small hole in the top-release handle and put that yellow "cord" shown above, through that hole. Or you can avoid drilling the small hole and just finagle your hand under the WindsuppreSSR. Or you can take a loop of rope and put it around the end of the handle every time you want to release the top. There is room under it to reach it, but it is kind of tight.
