CNN’s chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta said the exchange took place on Wednesday when Trudeau asked Trump how he could justify the tariffs as a national security issue. In response, Trump joked to Trudeau: “Didn’t you guys burn down the White House?” However, as many gleeful Twitter users were quick to point out, the incident in question was actually committed by British troops in 1812, who targeted Washington in retaliation to an American attack on York, Ontario, which was then a British colony. StingRay	I echo cstall's #2 comment above .... but in Tomcal's defense, it has been a slow news week of Trump gaffes whether real or imagined, and the left loonies must find something - anything to ridicule the man that is single handedly dismantling all that the prior mooslim in chief did to sabotage our great nation. Poor Tomcat will absolutely go nuts when Trump is in his second term and Obama is in jail along side Comey, Lynch, Jarret and the rest of the conspirators!
