This message has been edited by BeWare on 06-26-2017 at 03:36 PM Let's see how the worst roads play out: 1.San Francisco/Oakland, California – 74 percent of roads are poor. ------------------------------------------------------------- 58.3 cents per gallon in total taxes and fees in California,,, and yet your roads are poor. WTH,,best raise your gas taxes up to $1.00 per gallon and get 'em fixed, lol Surely the CA Liberals will not mind raising taxes higher.. BINGO,,,,, Gov Moonbeams and the CA Liberal state legislators will probably approve higher benefit amounts for the illegal aliens and those working for 'cash' and not paying taxes,,,,, who love the $$$ assistance provided to them..... Conservative’s Story About ‘How Republicans Are Born’ BeWare Gas Taxes in Michigan are High. I can tell your first hand after attending the 20th Anniversary event they must not use those taxes to maintain the roads. As soon as we crossed the state line into Ohio the difference in the roads was Night and Day. Like going from a wash board to glass. So I won't buy the excuse they can't do better because of the weather. reechee I just Googled it and until this year Michigan's gas tax was 19cents and Ohio's was 28 cents. Yours did go up this year by 15 cents. So perhaps with enough time you too will be gliding on glass. BeWare I don't live in MI. I was just there for a week for the 20th Anniv event. Hope you are right. ALLEY CAT quote:

it's a Tax and Go Broke state after all who loves supporting their illegal aliens and non-tax paying freeloaders who work for cash...... Landscape Doctor Looks to me like a bunch of leberals tweeting because they love taxes so much. Hey reech, this should be in my Typical Liberal thread. georgieboy Here in California they just raised the gas taxes 12 cents per gallon. This increase is supposed to go to the fund to repair roads. People are now wondering if they will now decide to spend this money on something else just like they always do. In areas where I drive the roads seem to be in great shape. Only in my subdivision are the roads bad but that is not the states responsibility but the countys. They just seem to ignore that our roads need fixing. ALLEY CAT California Quote: "People are now wondering if they will now decide to spend this money on something else just like they always do" Michael Pond It's easier to collect the tax for road repair than tell the truth that it is going to support their liberal agenda!! A big slush fund!!
