StingRayDo you enjoy pumpkin pie and turkey too as you celebrate your Thanksgiving?

Hope all our Northern Friends enjoyed their Holiday!

robinEd we don't have that many turkeys so that is why we spread out Thanksgiving and Christmas .
Plus pumpkins are a plenty for delicious pie this time of year....

druHappy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends, especially you Robin, and Ron from Saskatchewan, Tony, etc. So what is the traditional meal? Same as here? Does it depend on what part of Canada? Thanks Robin
touchwoodThank You All!
Thanksgiving was great here in Canada
To answer Joe's question about Supper here is what we had
-Turkey with Dressing
-Mashed Potatoes
-Perogies (Potato and Sauerkraut)
-Cabbage Rolls (Rice and Buckwheat)
-Caesar Salad
-Saskatoon Berry Pie and Pumpkin Pie

druThanks Ron for the menu. Sounds good (except the sauerkraut, YUK!) so it is pretty similar. Of course when you live this close to the southern border, mexican contributions begin to creep in (ie. tamales, etc). But it sounds like our traditional Thanksgiving dinner as well. And what are Saskatoon berries? What are they similar to? And I hope Diane is doing well.
Robin, was your menu similar?
Thanks guys, hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
robinthanks for asking dru..

Very similar. Each family has there own little traditions
But essentially it similar. Just nice to see everyone on a good note. take care ..robin
