BeWareI thought you might enjoy the measures I took to try and prevent or at least minimize possible hail damage to our Durango. The last three nights we have been under severe thunderstorm watches with the threat of large hail. We only have a two car garage and three cars. So every day a couple hours before the storms were scheduled to begin I took the following measures hoping to protect our Durango. It never did hail so I don't know how effective it would have been . However it surely would have helped. I used a combination of a 99 Cadillac car cover, outdoor chair and swing cushions, bubble wrap, bags of foam peanuts, comforters , blankets and even amd old Prowler under deck carpet. The garbage bags of foam peanuts were stuffed under the sides of the car cover hoping to deflect hail away from the sides. I'll bet my neighbors thought I was nuts.

DublinOHHey Rich, I could move some things around and make room for another vehicle in my garages. I'd be happy to take your Durango until say September when storm season is over.

Let me know when you want to drop it off!

Bob MillerGood idea, but it looks like you're getting read to ship it FEDEX someplace!!!
MDProwlerCheap insurance but funny as hell
1buddycDoesnt look nuts to me, looks Pretty Smart!
SuperKatHey Rich, that worked. Brilliant !!! Not only did it protect the Durango, it lightened up the storm. Good thinking.
