jaymsuHello Everyone.
I purchased 2001 orange Prowler about 1.5 years ago, and signed up for this forum. Took sometime to be approved to post anything, and I forgot about it.

I knew this thing would get "some" attention but man,,, it gets much more attention than I expected.
I had 3 Corvettes before this (one of them was bright yellow C6 Z06), and have driven red Ferrari 488 (not mine but my brother's) but this Prowler gets more attention and thumbs up than any of those cars.

The ride isn't the most comfortable, so I don't do any long trip in it, but top down cruising around town with my wife is very enjoyable.
Any my daughter just loves this car. Actually she was the reason why I got this car - I was looking at R8, F-type, Vantage, Gran Turismo, and Prowler. (all of them used, convertibles)
My daughter thought this was WAAAAAAY cooler than any other cars I was looking at, so.... here I am.

Anyways... Just wanted to stop in and say HI!

quincyHi and welcome! It took me two years of ownership before I discovered this wonderful site. You will find it is filled with friendly and helpful people!
ed monahanCongratulations and welcome. The folks that own Prowlers are the best part of owning one. Try to make an event and meet other owners and look at all the mods that you think you don't need or want now, but will decide you HAVE to get them later.
robinWelcome to the site.
Lots of good helpful knowledge stored on this site.
The search feature can really be helpful .
Enjoy and never be afraid to ask for help with anything .

Fred CainWelcome This site is a wealth of great info and help!
garysssWell the first thing I'm going say is, your daughter has great taste. LOL You should thank her, I'm sure she will be expecting Prowler to be her car sooner or later.

Congrats and welcome to the Party.

enzvoyCongratulations and welcome
padrooWelcome to the POA. It's a shame you didn't get active soon enough because you missed the 20 anniversary event in Michigan this spring.
druWelcome to the group. Great choice.

Quincy, Don't feel bad at all. It took me TEN years of ownership before I found this site. Can you say SLOW LEARNER!! LOL!
Rick BuehlerCongratulations and welcome !!
BeWareCongrats and welcome. Tell your Daughter she has excellent taste. I'm 72. We just this year drove from Atlanta to Michigan. The car is actually pretty comfortable for long trips on normal roads. But I have to admit driving on those MI roads for nearly a week took a toll on us. Best part of Prowler ownership is the people. Try and attend some events. It will enhance your Prowler experience and ownership enjoyment 1000 fold.
TucsonJerWelcome to the POA! I should warn you that your Prowler is going to make it hard to go somewhere unnoticed. I’ve had mine for 3 years now and I can’t think of a single time while driving this car that I haven’t had someone approach me wanting to know about the Prowler or give me a big thumbs up when going by them. On our way to Detroit earlier this year from Tucson we actually saw a pickup stop on an overpass to wave at us as we drove under them. Like you, we also have a Corvette. It’s a new C7 Stingray and it doesn’t get a third of the attention the Prowler gets. Also if you ever encounter any kind of a problem with your Prowler you will find unlimited help on this forum on how to fix it. A lot of these guys and gals have had Prowlers since they came out in 97. Enjoy your new Prowler!! Jer
CJWelcome to POA and congratulations for picking the best car ever!!! Nice to see you posting!!!

The Prowler makes you smile. Why? Because it's focused. It has a plot, a reason for being, a passion. It evokes the hot rod. It evokes the American Dream. This car is the human psyche.

koolktyJaymsu, as a fellow Michigan resident, I can relate to dealing with our awful roads. Does your car still have the stock tires? If so, consider new non-runflats.
DR PROWLERCongrats...
