The Prowler, not as performance oriented, may be a better financial bet in the medium term.koolkty Just saw a 2000 Viper GTS with 750 HP, 16,000 miles, only sold for $36,000 on Barret-Jackson tonight. Low mileage Prowlers can sell for not much less than that. Amazing. drbutton When I began thinking about buying something cool, the Viper was on my short list. In 2014, only a junk Viper was selling for less than about $45k. The prices have apparently dropped on these move than on Prowlers. I wonder if the market for the Viper is more performance oriented? If so, the ongoing horsepower arms-race may erode the Viper values now that the car is being withdrawn from said race by FCA. Just a hypothesis...
