It finally stopped raining today at my house, the water is receding quickly. Probably had 25 to 30 inches. This message has been edited by TFischer on 08-29-2017 at 10:54 AM Me too. . . been checking the site. Placing a reply here so I will get email notifications on this thread.BeWare I am really worried about them. Has anyone been in contact with them? TLRandall Haven't spoke to them, but did get a text from Don Ward saying the water was getting closer, it was too high to get out and they had no power. whealy Tuned in here just for this reason to see it there was any update. Here's hoping Judy, Mike and all our TX/LA friends stay safe during this event. mslc10 I sent out an email to 37 Texas kats, I have heard back from 11..... TLRandall Talked to Jim R. , he is ok, water is up high in his street. George Johnson In Katy we had 25-30" but no water in the house. My main street is impassable but we have power and water. The Barker Reservoir is our main concern but the Army Corp has started releasing it to Buffalo Bayou. TFischer I checked with Don Ward and he said he sent Mike and Judy a message but never heard back from them. Marty says that the Buffalo Bayou is very close to Mike and Judy's house and is in flood stage plus the Corp has been sending water from the dams to the Buffalo Bayou so they don't breach. Hoping they are ok. Nick C I actually had a text from Judy on August 24th about a tie bar i ordered. TFischer AC had Chris' phone number so I called and left him a message yesterday asking that they all let us know how they are doing. It was a landline though, so it may not be in use currently. TucsonJer I've been glued to the TV watching the horrific scenes on the news of all the poor flood victims in Texas. We're praying for them all. I truly hope that Mike & Judy and all the other Prowler owners in the area are high and dry even though "dry" might be hard thing to accomplish down there. Just know that you all are in our hearts and on our minds. I urge everyone to give what they can to the Red Cross, I'm sure they can use all the help they can get. Jer silverkat I agree Red Cross is way to go. Sent 200. to them and 200. to Best Friends who are an excellent animal charity. CatDude quote:
