The I pad is a great mobile device, but when I have real work to do I go to the PC. The apple stuff just works when you open up the cover! BOOM , I'm where I want to be! But Photobucket has decided they want to hold my pics hostage for $$$! That ain't happening either! iPad works great but have to have a pic hosting app to be able to third party host pics so images can be linked to by this site. I am not having any luck finding a third party hoster for free. This message has been edited by mslc10 on 08-12-2017 at 05:49 PM Here is where many might have problems from their PC, the file name has to be right or it will not, post. Don't remember all the details but no spaces can be in file name File size should be smaller, think I try and use is around 800x600 You also can only post the file name one time. You use to be able to search for the file and repost, but I never had any luck with that. It has been so long since I posted a picture I could be wrong on file size. For those that post large pictures then the type is so small you have to enlarge it and move page back and forth. Yes it would be nice to be able to post from iPad, not sure what would be involved, POA is 17 years old, it is the BEST PLACE to get info on the Prowler. Yes most of us have other sources of social media we use, but in the end this is the best place to find what you want to know about the car. Mike and all those behind the scenes do this for the love of the car. Our donations help cover part of the cost, so if an upgrade is wanted or needed then we need to help pay for the benefit. I will leave it at that. Posting pictures are not impossible, just different than most other social media. ------------------Grt guy657 can someone please give me simple directions on how to post photos and create a scrapbook? Help??? 1st Prowler I'll 2nd that question......😎 CJ Okay, I will try to make this as easy as possible. There are two types of scrapbooks you can do. One is for posting pics of your car. DHansen I haven't been able to add or delete photos in the scrapbook area for quite some time. I've brought this subject up before with no response, so I gave up. Tony Goertz Let me look into this and get it working again ....
-- Tonymslc10 Any way of making it iPad friendly ? I don't use my PC anymore , it's crap! But unable to load pics from iPad. Used to use photobucket but they want to charge now for third party hosting. padroo When a website is designed it is suppose to be tested with all major browsers and operating systems to make sure it works, obviously the iPad fell through the cracks. My guess is this forum has not been updated for some time. MattG I was a life long "PC", then a unix admin and android user to go along with that. Then, 5 years ago I got a job with a company who is deeply entrenched in IOS. Here is my take an apple stuff: mslc10 The pc won't work until it installs all of its stupid updates!
Then by the time it's updated the battery must be recharged!
The you have to run your antivirus program!WildCat i use to post lots of pictures, I too hardly ever use my PC and my iPad will not post due to each picture has to have its own file name
