2000Catwould like to know if i can replace the power window switch on passengers side with out removing the inner door panel, thank
robinI do believe you have to remove the panel to change the switch.
There will be two squeeze points on each side of the switch. You can unplug the switch then squeeze the two points and push it up through the hole. Take your time and go easy on all plastic parts. Good luck.
robin
LSKRobin's right. I have replaced both window regulators and door speakers and the switches can only be removed by pushing the metal clip which is located on the inside of the door panel. The switch can be turned sideways and it will slip down thru the hole.

When reinstalling, push the switch back thru the hole and leave it loose until the door panel has been reinstalled. Then set one end of the switch down in the hole and gently push down the other side until the clip pops in place.

2000CatThanx guys with the help on power window sw.
ed monahanDan, put the handle of a screwdriver inside the door handle and then hit the screwdriver with your hand, toward the back of the car. That way you should not break the tabs.
MDProwlerI think it should pop up and out with a plastic trim tool. It is a 95-2000 Dodge Ram window switch assembly. I can't remember if it comes up enough to unplug or not.

phil2237From doing many window regulators, I have had to remove these switches many times. It has an open end lock on the ends and the panel must come off to depress the metal tabs. It can be Re-installed with the panel on though. You might be able to depress them with the panel on, but you can possibly do damage to the panel. The switch needs to be turned side ways to remove it any way. so pull the panel just so you don't do any damage. Only takes a few minutes to remove
