I believe that you can take the route around Toledo to the west and hook up with M23 and avoid the Detroit area completely on the way up. It's always more fun to travel with a pack of Cats. Traveling all the way on Sunday or splitting up the drive?
Can't wait to see this many together. I was not an owner for the 10th party.1st Prowler Ever We'll be coming from NE ohio, west on Ohio Turnpike, to Rt 280 N, to 75 N. Probably leaving home about 7 ish Monday morning . Should be on the pike at the Rt 280 exit area about 10AM ish. If anyone wants to meet up or along the way, we can plan it. Rob. RPL 1st Prowler, you might want to consider going a little a farther to the west side of Toledo and taking US 23 north through Flint. That avoids I-75 and Detroit. Check the map for Turnpike exits in Toledo. CJ What 20th anniversary??????????????? WildCat quote:

Larry, this is me right now...........1st Prowler Ever I don't know why Google Maps said at one time to take I75 from the Ohio Turnpike, and another Rt23? Maybe it adjusts for the time of day traffic? I did not know if that Rt23 was a side road that may be rough driving, stop and go. It is showing construction? 1st Prowler Ever We won't be leaving Ohio until Monday morning, so we cannot meet you all at the Doherty Hotel. What will the address be that we could arrive to meet you guys later Monday afternoon? RPL 1st Prowler. Answered by private message. BeWare quote:

Rich,
Thanks Bob, I will check that outTucsonJer After all the anticipation, after all the preparation, the day has finally arrived! In just a couple hours we will be setting off on our first cross country Prowler trip. We decided from the beginning that this was going to be a slow paced, leisurely adventure. Our mileage each day will be around 350 to 400 miles. No getting up and hitting the road by 5am to make sure we would have the 6 or 7 hundred miles per day required to accomplish everything we had planned in a two week time frame known as "vacation". There will be numerous stops along the way to see friends and family before accomplishing our goal to arrive in Michigan for our second Prowler event. We look forward to seeing friends we met last year in Shipshewana and to making more friends this year. Everyone be safe on your way to Michigan and may the travel Gods smile upon us. See you in a few days. Jer BeWare You should have a blast. We did similar and took three weeks for the Prowlin' the Rockies Event in 2002. 5200 miles in total. Have a safe trip. ed monahan Have a fun and safe trip Jer. See you next week-end. TucsonJer Pulled into Wichita about an hour ago. Everything is going very well. Totally rain free so far but we can sure tell it's been in the area. Water standing in the fields and ditches. Having fun watching people point, stare, take pictures and give the thumbs up. Every time we stopped we have folks stopping to ask questions about the Prowler. What a fun trip! Jer padroo quote:
