As for getting new tires you might want to consider new TPS and since yours is the older expensive if not impossible to get, upgrade to the newer module and sensors I changed mine when I got new tires. Which ones did you go with? I'm working on a new set of tires but was going to bypass the sensors. Got thru Mopar parts complete module and 4 sensors. Had to take it to dealer to get programmed If you do this write the serial number down off each tire sensor and location of each before taking to get programmed. It took them a while since I didn't do this and they had to try 3 different tools to get it to program. They said with serial number would have been easier. The module is located under the dash cap above the steering column. I did it when I had my shoulder surgery and that made it a little difficult to do with the sling on, but with Sues's help was able to get it done. Brian Richardson aka Spoons did the conversion 1st on his 97. Tried to find my post where I posted the part numbers but never found it. Have the box around here somewhere. Think this is thread from years past This message has been edited by padroo on 04-16-2017 at 08:36 PM Dale, I also tried to get mine programmed at local tire store, they couldn't do it either. Thanks for the info, I checked with one of my suppliers and he told me Schrader makes them and are supposed to be programmable with the existing receiver in my 99. $320.00 Canadian for 4 including shipping seems too good to be true but who knows?BeWare As you will probably recall I dinged up the passenger side rear fender. I decided while it was being repaired to go ahead and get the nose repainted also. They did an amazing job matching the paint. You also can't tell the fender was ever damaged. But the biggest surprise is how much having the nose repainted has improved the overall appearance of the car. I am so thrilled with the way the car looks now I am almost bursting at the seams. Our Prowler trailer has a small paint damage issue on one fender as well. I just may take it to them to have that corrected also. Next on the list is new tires. The tires are like brand new tread wise but just too old to trust driving all the way to the 20th Anniversary event in June. TucsonJer Glad to hear they did a good job on your repairs. Also it's a wise move replacing the tires. That's a long way to be worrying about the tires. See you in June. Jer StingRay Good to hear, Rich! Kinda like a woman with a face lift ... a little goes a long way! WildCat Glad you are satisfied with the repair Wulff quote:

I went to three places and didn't get them programmed, that was three years ago. I was surprised that Discount Tire could not program them and I bought the tires from them. It's an antique system I guess. WildCat quote:
