This is my plan, the middle of my rims about 4-5" are peeling but not bad just bubbles. I think I am going to sand off the chrome on just the part that is peeling and paint is with some light silver metallic paint. I think I can save the very inner part of the wheel so looking from the inside of the front it will still have chrome and still look OK. Have anyone done this? If so could you post a pic? I like the look of the stock wheels so I am going to try to save them. If not I will pick up another set of wheels. beachcat I have done that. I don't have a picture but I can take one. I removed the chrome on the flat portion with a flap disk on a grinder. I left the inner lip chrome. I did not paint but used a rubberized coating. But you could paint or plastidip. Efrem 72 Or even send off to have the inner wheel barrels powder coated the color of the car....leaving the outside chrome.look at page 2 of general prowler discussion "inner wheel" posted by need4speed. Bingo Beach, you have described exactly what I am thinking of doing. If you get a chance to take a pic that would be great. I might just actually go red. Thanks again guys.beachcat Here ya go LD Landscape Doctor quote:

Thanks for the pics. I do not think I am going to go all the way out, maybe 3-4" in the fronts and the rears I am going to do the flat middle part of the wheel.
