...the grill screen wasn't the approved production item, and since it wasn't a major component, just cosmetic, it was substituted by another part and OKd by Quality Assurance, CAAP, Diamler Chrysler for 60 days...possibly waiting on regular supplier to produce more of the part ...again, just a guess...interesting stuff though It was not on a car, purchased loose. I only saw it cause I had this done: Jay,,,,,are you sure? Jacques Cousteau's signature I could buy, lol. Could be that or my age... My eyes don't work like they use to when I was 19 admittedly. Yes you are ancient at the ripe old age of 30. Hey Jay my wife stumbled upon your review on the Veloster. She just got the Turbo R Spec in light gray w/the red interior and loves it. -Yup, getting re-painted gloss metallic white with a pearl coat. -It is both a water transfer and a airbrush combined -I am selling my hyundai veloster silverkat. Mine was a base but the turbo r your wife got is indeed fun. I am getting a elio to replace the hyundai -Yup, getting re-painted gloss metallic white with a pearl coat. -It is both a water transfer and a airbrush combined -I am selling my hyundai veloster silverkat. No sir. www.eliomotors.com Finally... a car designed to knock the Prowler off of the '10 worst car' lists! I think it's all silverkat's fault. I think it's all silverkat's fault. I think JeraneW has hijacked another thread. I am not the most observant person in the world, my wife keeps reminding me of it.beachcat Found this written on the backside of an upper dash. Have no idea what it means but it's sort of like cave writing. tangled up in BLUE ...my bet

Looks like your kats appearance was only good for 60 days from August 1, 2000. Do not know what to tell you after that. The Prowlers were hand built correct? So it would not surprise me to see cave writing.RPL The question is where did the part come from? Was this on a car or purchased loose? It's clearly an engineering sample where it was presented by the supplier to quality control and the appearance approved subject to agreed upon changes. These parts aren't typically used on production level vehicles. The sample and sign off are held for reference. beachcat RPL, wouldn't they have had the dash design figured out by July 2000? Gary Archer When I bought my SRT8 Magnum the dealership messed up the front valence changing the oil on the rack. They replaced it but said it had signatures and writing on the inside of it, similar to this. CCJ My under dash piece had a similar writing on it but in spanish strangely. ALLEY CAT quote:

CCJ For some reason this site will not allow me to multi quote all of you above (presumably because this site is still stuck in 1999 with the way it's been coded, but I digress)
so I'll answer as I remember the questions:silverkat quote:

No sir. www.eliomotors.com beachcat Hope you guys are having fun with my thread lol. My "writing under the dash" thread has somehow turned into a pizza thread. padroo What kind of pizza do you like? beachcat I pretty much like any kind but I don't like anchovies or bits of raw uncooked bacon. Large is good. Extra large is better. silverkat quote:
