Gort95 degrees with 70 percent humidity. Miserable conditions. I'll be glad to see fall arrive. Here's the reason for the post. My prowler has the coldest AC of any car I've ever owned. When I turn the car off it leaves a large puddle of water. My other cars have great AC units also but do not leave but about 1/3 the size puddle. The prowler makes a huge mess on the garage floor. I'm beginning to wonder why. I'll post a photo the next time I park it after a hot trip.I've never seen a car put out that much water,is this the same as other prowlers?
TLRandallIt was 84 degrees today with a heat index of 105 degrees! Very, Very humid! I was working out in the carport and was soaking wet. I ran the Prowler for about 20 minutes while I vacuumed and detailed the interior, and it looked like I had dumped a 5 gallon bucket of water under the car when I was done. The home air conditioner is putting out more water than I have ever seen too.

Thanks,I guess my other cars are just different. As long as it's normal I'm happy. The AC units in my home are running most of the time, I might have to sell something to pay the electric bil....grin

mslc10More moisture in a Kat due to rag top allowing for outside moist air into cabin versus a better sealed regular vehicle that you are probably running ac in recirculating mode. Just a guess tho.
catfishyou must have worked very hard on that stupid theory.

------------------

beachcatI think the cat retains more water before it dumps it completely. The drain tube is fairly tightly crimped, I assume to prevent spiders from entering??

This may be a stupid theory. Didn't put much time into coming up with it.

Goop Of OilI think it is because you are running the A/C with the top down and trying to Air Condition the WORLD?
