Killian	I had a new rear body panel put on the Prowler but, the little rubberized parts between the rear quarter panel and the rear body panel need replacing as the are scraped up and slightly out of shape from the old body panel. I am sure the knowledgeable community here knows, since the Chrysler Dealer couldn't figure it out Here is a picture of the part. Thanks, Killian
xtreme prowler	I've had to sand mine down and repaint them a couple times over the years... used 3/4" wide 3m double sided tape to put them back on...
1buddyc	It's called a "Filler- Rear Quarter to Rear Valance" and each color is a different part number.

catfish	its also called a seam cover and real expensive,about 80.00 each.they are impossible to retape if you dont get all the residue off,,you can also use 3m weatherstrip glue to reattach. ------------------ This message has been edited by catfish on 05-08-2014 at 01:07 PM
1buddyc	Not so Jan, most of them have a list price of around $40-$45 each depending on the Color but you can buy them usually for around $30-$34 each. Yellow seems to be the cheapest, I just ordered a pair at $29.36 each plus shipping. And they are EASY to retape IF you use the correct proceedure and materials.

After new RealRod pan was installed, I put the original ones back on with again, small amount of heat. That was ten years ago,,,,,stilling holding strong. Just saying...

Jan you know as well as I do that you need to completely remove all the old backing (I usually rub it off with my thumb), clean with solvent, coat cleaned area with a small coat of Adhesion Promotor then re-apply 3M Backing Tape to the part. If you are careful, you should use a little Adhesion Promotor on the surface of the Quarter and Valance but only where the Filler is going to be re-attached. Thats what you would need to do if you didn't remove it like AC said he did, in the first place. AC's example is the easiest and works well.

The "Basic" part number is QQ57 and whatever the Color Code you are looking for, added at the end.
