I may have found part of the rough ride problem. I posted this in the tech&apper. sect. also. I'm hoping the bolt just loosens and the split bushing can be replaced.

Just looking at that part,it doesn't look like the bolt is near as long as the stock bolt.

MDProwlerThe boot may be split but that has nothing to do with a ride problem unless the whole rod is falling apart.

You'd have to know me to understand I can't let it go..smiles. I'm sorta like that. I got out of the antique Chevy business because I couldn't stop the drivetrain from dripping oil..ha,ha
