Speedometer reading 295= 65 mph Speedometer reading 295= 65 mph So my math says it's 10mm wider and 4mm taller (X 2 for both sides, so 8mm taller. I don't think it will rub. My tires are 295/45/20, about 15mm taller and I get a very infrequent rub. Pretty sure he had the same tires as me 295/45/20. The flame cut BFGs. I'm sure he will chime in.Gort http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos
Can anyone think of a reason that a 305-40-20 could not be used to replace the orginal 295-40-20?
305= 65.7 mphMe Time If I'm not mistaken the tire rubs at times.

305= 65.7 mphbeachcat 305/40/20 means the tread width of the tire is 305 millimeters, the height of the tire is 40% as tall as it is wide(from the rim to the edge of the tire), and the tire fits on a 20 inch rim. WildCat I believe Marty Usher had 305's on his prowler and he said they would rub the frame rail beachcat quote:
