GortI've read the owners manual for my 2001. I didn't see anything that explained the adjustment to the front shocks. They look like they are adjustable. Does the adjustment make a great difference in the ride or is it for performance handling? Maybe I should just leave it aqlone..smiles
ZapcopdI may be wrong but I don't think that they are adjustable. I am in the same boat. Trying to improve the ride. First thing I did was lower the air pressure in the tires a little and then I installed a wonder bar. I'm going to replace the run flats with a set of Continental extreme contact. DWS tires as soon as I can scrape together the $. There are replacement shocks available but i don't know much about them. I'm sure others that know more will throw in their 2 cents. Good luck.
ed monahanThe sidewalls on run flats are about 3 times as thick as normal tires. There is no give or flex in the sidewalls.
If you change the tires to non-runflats, you will see a tremendous difference in ride quality.
The wonder bar makes a huge difference, at least on the 99s.

Maybe these are upgraded shocks. They're KONI shocks. It looks like it takes a spanner type wrench to adjust them.

ALLEY CATMost,,,not all, Prowlers came with Koni shocks from the factory. Another brand was used at one time,,,too many replacements due to leakage and discontinued.
GortCan they be adjusted? If so, how many turns.
garysssI don't think they are adjustable. If they are, you can not do it on the car. I think you have to compress the spring to adjust them.
GortThanks again

Covered in 2006. They are adjustable, just not easy to do.

JeraneWThe wonder bar made lots of difference on my Prowler. Run flats will still make the ride hard. I don't think trying to adjust the Konis will make much difference.
