DrillinUI have 2 questions.
1) what should be the norm for each of these gauges?
2) at what point should I be concern on each of these gauges?
Thank you

EdsCatBased on what I'm seeing in your pictures, you are fine. They look perfect to me...

DrillinUBut when should I be concerned and have the car checked out?

keep these pics in the car so Whenever they don't look like them you will know you are trouble

prowlerFreekThe only gauge I have trouble trusting is the gas gauge. I don't think it's accurate so I just stick to watching the mileage I put on the car per fill-up.

EssexExportIf the temperature gague keeps going up to an overheating point, check & see under the hood for any stains of leakage. Had a water pump replaced in mine after encountering that problem.
ALLEY CAT"2. at what point should I be concerned"

When this one,,,,

is over 7K constantly........

padrooOil pressure is usually highest when the oil is cold and will be it's highest when cold and at higher RPM. You should make a mental note of this condition for a reference. Once the car comes up to normal operating temperature and at idle that should be the lowest it would normally be. Running down the highway at high RPM the oil pressure will rise a little from idle but not as high as cold. These conditions are a result of temperature, clearences of the engine and oil viscosity.
DrillinUthe OIL gauge has dropped while I m driving too 1 notch over the red mark. I checked the oil dib-stick (while car was cold and sat over night)
The oil was in middle MIN and MAX.

any thoughts why it dropped and almost at the red mark?

The oil pressure sending unit would be a cheap replacement to see if it really is reading a low pressure. Has the oil filter been changed lately?

DrillinUGoing tomorrow to do an oil change.
Was hoping getting more info here, just in case it stays the same after the oil change.

garysssI replaced my sending unit last year, sometimes it would work fine, then it would drop to zero or close to it. Replaced the sender and drove across country and back, no problems since.

idiveMy oil gauge sits almost always at the mid point. Higher RPM's might bump it up a little. If you are not changing your own oil, let the person doing it know that the sending unit is close to the oil filter and to be careful not to bump it. That can cause the sending unit to act eratic and you'll get funky readings on your gauge. Even 0.
My battery is a little closer to 14, but yours is fine.
Temp gauge looks ok. You shouldn't have to worry about this, but if it goes up to 3/4, turn on the heater and it should cool down. If it doesn't, pull over.
If your gas gauge gets to the E, don't plan on driving another 100 miles. You won't make it.
If your tach is constantly over 7K, there's a couple ways to bring it back in line. One is to take your foot off the gas, but usually, you'll freak out when the rev limiter goes off before you get to 7K. (Nothing freaks out AC and his goes well past 7K all the time.) Another is to bump the tack, or bounce the steering wheel with the tilt lever. The easiest and most sure way is to remove it and rotate it to move the needle back where it needs to be. It will go a little at a time, but it gets there.
DON WIEBERthey put a gauge on the oil gauge and told me that the middle mark was 60psi. lower large one 40psi and upper one at 80 psi.
