lodegeHi every one, i have a doubt about paint on a Woodward.
Is the red clear coat(metalized) or is a mono layer paint(without metal). I'm sorry for my so poor english......
01ProwlerIs the pen stripe signed and numbered by DR Rue on the center of the rear decklid?

The paint and clearcoat are non metallic.

lodegeThank you 01Prowler for your quick answer.
I never seen the car than i bought some days ago in Florida but in pictures, sometimes look like red sometimes orange.
I'll receive my baby in one month due to the shipping, i leave in Switzerland and the Prowler will left USA next week by cargo to Germany, then on truck to Switzerland.
I'm not sure if i'll sleep every nights before Christmas

The Prowler red does look orange in some different light conditions. I'm sure it will be ok. Congrats on your purchase. Please share some pictures when it arrives. Do you know what number woodward you purchased?

I'm sure you will have more questions once you get the car, feel free to ask I'm sure someone here can help you.

-Ron

lodegeThank you Ron for your reply. Mine is the 135. I'll post some pictures as soon i receive the Woodward.
HowardEnjoy your new Prowler. Make sure someone buys you a bottle of wax, some front ceramic brake pads, and some chap stick ( So you use on your lips, because you will be smiling so much when you get your Prowler, that your lips will get chapped.) for the Holidays.

What a great present for yourself.

Enjoy.

catfishthe red is not a true red,its more orange than red.

stprinzhello there,
i live in Italy and have a 2000 silver prowler. the Woodward is normal red with the black hood, trunk and the upper part of the doors in black. the Woodward edition has a red pinstripe around the car with is hand signed by dr.rue and numbered (right in the middle of the pinstripe on the truck you should see in the light a little difference and the Dr. rue signature)
here is another link you might like to look at. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001443.html

fell free to ask......

RichO JMO, folks, this is no longer a Woodward Paint topic and it belongs in Events, or simply pm each other. I wish you well in your get together but, in fairness to all, I am weary of accessing your posts to learn of Kat info and then find a Twitter conversation. I'm sorry I can't join you in Europe, have fun ..
lodegeSorry about those three posts

Is the Woodward red part same as the red one ?

catfishyes.
