Rears

Iv'e heard of guys sending their factory rears in for drilling. I don't think there are any off the shelf drilled or slotted rears available but I could be wrong

stevedymoUse the search feature with 'slotted rotor' to get an education on drilled vs slotted rotors.

Also try this site: http://ebcrotors.com/p-224-ebc-ultimax-rotors.aspx

catfishnobody makes rr s/d rotors.

------------------

jimsuttonGot mine on Ebay 4 years ago . Front . work fine with 26000 mi.now -- NO problems at all .
catfishone of the advantages for the frts are the a/m have a zinc coating and wont rust.

------------------

beachcatwouldn't the zinc coating just wear off the face of the rotor?
treybI just ordered all of these online for the 6.1 build

To help with improved braking decided to upgrade the front rotors and breaks pads all around as part of the build.
Going with
EBC 3GD SPORT BRAKE SERIES ROTORS, DIMPLED AND SLOTTED, VENTED,

These discs have wide aperture slots that draw cool air into the braking contact area, thereby reducing excess heat and preventing brake fade. During wet conditions, the slots help wick water away from the rotors while removing dirt, dust, debris, and gases created by heavy braking.

Then will be going with EBC red stuff brakes. Fully ceramic low dust, and will go all around.

In searching POA there is Very limited options for back rotors. I have seen guys on the site sending there stock ones to be drilled in the past. Like below

As far as the Back the guy working on my car, is great with metal work. He probally will be sloting the rears for me following a simular pattern as the fronts. if interested let me know maybe he can do yours also.

dj4hirethe picture is of rotors that I had drilled by obi a few years ago, he was a great guy and had lots of great products.
treybis Obi still doing them? i saw that picture as you mentioned along time ago wasnt sure if its still advailable as a service
ed monahanObi passed away a few months ago.
