| xtreme prowler | I think the thought on this prices are that the original sticker price in Canada was $66,000, so this price represents 25% less than sticker.... 25% less than sticker in the US would be $33,750.... The US and CDN $ being par now makes buying in the USA and importing pretty attractive. |
| fibertop | I think it also has to do with the differences in our economies. The Canadian economy is pretty hot and that is reflected in the price of everything. |
| xtreme prowler | yup, thats true and definately a factor.... one thing is kinda strange... If you compare the prices of SSR's on the CDN auto trader and ebay... The CDN prices are for the most part better... |

| xtreme prowler | Figured it was a typo since it gave a phone number... Trader.ca has scammers under Private listing that are offering cars at 10% of true value.. these have the only contact by email and want $ up front.... beware the deal that is to good to be true.. |
| padroo | funny you should mention the scammers, the picture looks exactly like my black kat. Not only that but it is taken in an aircraft hanger in Addison Texas. The dealer I bought from is an eBay dealer at http://www.ecarlink.com/. They sell exotic and high end used cars out of that aircraft hanger and the airplanes in the background is their trademark. |

The black Prowler on AutoTrader.com IS A SCAM.
I advertised it on a specific Quebec website with the pics that I found on the internet. (No time to shoot nice pictures of my car but it is close to brand new). The scamers switched the price and the mileage. Asking 39900$CAN and the car has 3500 miles. (5500km). I've noticed AutoTrader.com, hopefully they will remove it ASAP. |
| digitalxpt | yep autotrader has a lot of scams, the nice thing is they make them too good, but lately they've been getting better and they make the deal good but not too good. if they have a number it'll never work, and the email will tell you theyve moved to a different country and have it in a hanger stored safely and will have it transported to you free etc typical b.s Also to see all prowlers in canada on autotrader vhttp://www.autotrader.ca/a/pv/new-used/all/all/Prowler/?lloc=Maple%2c+ON&rctry=True&rcs=0&c2t=Car Hopefully that works, there should be 41 of them, and some are actually quite decent in price, while others are just ridiculous. |
